Hagerstown Community College nursing students earn top marks

Hagerstown Community College's nursing program continues to churn out some of the top candidates in the state for nursing careers. Students in HCC's associate-degree nursing program earned the highest scores on the first-time candidate exam, known as NCLEX-RN, among Maryland's 16 community colleges during the 2016-17 academic year, college officials said in a news release. The program ranked second overall in the state, behind only the bachelor's-degree program at Johns Hopkins University.
