Alec Ross may be a first-time candidate, but he is no political newcomer. The 45-year-old West Virginia native served as a technology advisor during then-Sen. Barack Obama's 2008 presidential campaign before joining the State Department as Senior Advisor on Innovation the following year. Now he is entering a crowded field of Democrats vying for the chance to unseat incumbent Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan (R) in next year's gubernatorial election. Ross sat down with the Eagle to discuss his campaign and issues he is focusing on as 2018 nears. (Dundalk Eagle)
