If a fire flares up in a greasy pan on your stove, you can do several things. You can run out the door and cry for help. The fire will keep burning and spread. You can fill a glass with water and throw it on the fire.The fire will probably hiss and smoke and keep burning. If you’ve planned well, you will have a fire extinguisher and you’ll know how to use it. Chesapeake High School has a fire going — and more than a simple kitchen fire. This is a nasty blaze in which students hang nooses in bathrooms and use racial slurs on one another. These insults have no place in Pasadena, Annapolis, Baltimore or Washington, D.C. (Capital)
