Leidos lands $160M in Army communications software work

Leidos Holdings Inc. (NYSE: LDOS) has been awarded a U.S. Army task order for software engineering services worth $160 million. The order covers one base year and four additional one-year options and entails Leidos supporting the the U.S. Army’s Communications-Electronics Command Software Engineering Center. The order covers mission command, radars and “other systems used to observe and coordinate surface-to-surface fires,” according to a release from Leidos. The work includes the Army’s Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System, which provides artillery systems for both the Army and the U.S. Marines. (Wash. Bus. Journal)
