BPD Spokesman: 'Small Number Of Tasks' Left In Suiter Case

A Baltimore police spokesman on Friday aimed to reconcile the gap between Police Commissioner Michael Harrison's Wednesday statement that the investigation into Detective Sean Suiter's death was closed and State's Attorney Marilyn Mosby's Thursday statement that the investigation remained "open and pending." "The State’s Attorney and Commissioner Harrison have agreed that there are a small number of tasks to complete in this case," police spokesman Matt Jablow said in a statement. "The Commissioner respects the process and, as a result, BPD is proceeding with those tasks." (WBAL)
