Baltimore-area tech companies join forces to lower hiring barriers, increase diversity

Over 20 local tech companies are committing to increasing workforce diversity by lowering certain hiring barriers, including degree requirements, as part of a new initiative. The companies have formed a coalition and launched Baltimore Tracks, an initiative aimed at addressing racial inequities that exist in the tech space, and taking tangible steps to increase opportunities for minority workers within the industry. Companies that join the coalition commit to various equity-focused hiring and demographics tracking goals.
