Baltimore County officials tout COVID-19 vaccine efficiency, plan more mass vaccination sites

At Baltimore County’s vaccination hub in Timonium, officials worked Wednesday to allay residents’ worries about the COVID-19 vaccine. County Executive Johnny Olszewski said vaccinations administered in the Cow Palace at the Maryland State Fairgrounds played a role in a “promising decline” in key metrics. As of Wednesday, the county’s positivity rate hit 4.99%, the first time that number has been below 5% since early November.v
