Confusion abounds about Maryland’s COVID vaccine allocation. Here’s what we do know.

Much confusion abounds about how Maryland is allocating its share of the COVID-19 vaccine throughout the state. Local health departments, hospitals, retail pharmacies, federally qualified community health centers and state-run mass vaccination sites are receiving shares of the vaccines Maryland gets from the federal government. But Gov. Larry Hogan’s administration has not released comprehensive information about each provider’s fraction of Maryland’s allotment, despite repeated requests.
