For Greater Baltimore office landlords, purified air is the new must-have amenity

The owners of Tower II at 100 S. Charles St. have set aside $2.2 million to add what they deem a crucial upgrade to the downtown office tower: Fresh air. When hundreds of employees begin to return in the coming months from Covid-19 work from home mandates, tenants there will be able to exist (read: breath) confidently as they go about their day. Something that was once a given is now the top requirement in the new normal, and front and center for developers and property owners downtown and in Baltimore’s suburbs.
