Maryland weather: 4-8 inches of snow possible Wednesday night through midday Friday

The Baltimore region could see 4 to 8 inches of snow later this week, according to the National Weather Service, as a winter storm is likely to hit the area. The precipitation, mainly snow, is likely to begin Wednesday night and continue until midday Friday. The weather service has yet to release any watches or warnings for the storm, but expects 4 to 8 inches to fall around the Baltimore area.
