Maryland weather: Additional 3-4 inches of snow expected across Baltimore region Monday and into Tuesday

January 31, 2021

Don’t put away the snow boots and scrapers just yet. The cold weather and snow are expected to stay for at least another day. The Baltimore region was blanketed with snow Sunday, with most areas getting about 2 to 3 inches. The National Weather Service said a mix of rain, freezing rain and snow was expected overnight before the snowfall returns in the midmorning Monday. “It’s going to bring more of an accumulation,” NWS meteorologist Luis Rosa said Sunday. “It won’t be a heavy snowfall, but it will be steady, off and on, and end sometime during the day on Tuesday.”
