Following the end of his term representing the city’s 7th District in December, Leon Pinkett joined arts-focused real estate development nonprofit Baltimore Arts Realty Corp. as the organization’s executive director. BARCO, which developed the maker space Open Works in Greenmount West and the Motor House in Station North, announced Pinkett as its new director on Tuesday morning. He will be responsible for overseeing administration, strategic plans and real estate projects, and will report to BARCO’s board of directors, according to a release.
