Talbot pushes to get vaccines out

February 4, 2021

If you’re eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine, the byword is patience. The Talbot County Health Department is reaching out to residents in a tiered approach as vaccine appointments become available. A Jan. 26 email to eligible recipients stated, “Currently, vaccine supply is extremely limited and we are currently vaccinating individuals eligible for Maryland’s Phase 1B vaccination category. When demand for Phase 1B has been met, we will proceed to Phase 1C. The timing of this is dependent upon the supply of vaccines received by Talbot County Health Department, which is highly variable, and the number of eligible recipients interested in being vaccinated.”
