Adventist HealthCare, Montgomery College strike deal to bring 350 nurses into workforce pipeline

Adventist HealthCare is teaming up with Montgomery College to build up a pipeline of nurses for its future workforce, as chronic staffing shortages challenge health systems across the country. The Gaithersburg health system, which comprises three acute-care hospitals and several outpatient care facilities in Maryland, is set to fund scholarships and offer experience working in a health care setting to 350 students over eight years, the partners announced Tuesday.
