In a stunning defeat, a Republican-led push to impeach Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas failed on Tuesday. The final vote was 214-216. Four Republicans defected and joined all Democrats present in opposing the measure. For a moment, the vote was tied at 215-215 before another Republican switched to vote against.
