March 2, 1931-90 yrs ago-my Mom came into this world. She is no longer with us here. We lost the happiness she brought to us 6 months ago. We haven't been able to gather for a proper celebration of her wonderful life. We will soon-when we can. Meanwhile, I sure do miss her a lot.
I am also concerned about students and parents who have an image of school in their mind from years of experience and picture the same setting now.
@Emily__Petersen @EricEbersole Wishing you a great day today! I wish that you (and all of us) could have more confidence that you were returning to a safe work environment, but I am so grateful for your work!
Teacher Friend:It's a rollercoaster.Trying to stay positive and not be resentful that I am back in the building for 2 students.Don't get me wrong,I am glad that some teachers can continue to work safely/virtually.I am angry at the way this whole thing has been handled in general.
Honoring the irrefutable and unstoppable contributions of women as we start Women’s History Month!
While work-to-rule means I didn't lose my weekend to planning, it doesn't prevent the first day jitters. Two things about tomorrow can both be true: 1) we wish there were better precautions in place to keep everyone safe and 2) we look forward to welcoming and loving our kids.
