@jenreesman 2/2 Ultimately, these decisions are within the CE’s purview as he is in charge of managing these depts. I will continue voicing my support for a better coordinated re-opening strategy, esp. given the critical services that these agencies provide to our constituents.
@jenreesman 1/2 TY for your question. County Exec Elrich recently announced that 6 library branches will reopen in June 1 and 2 senior centers in June 14. I share the concern that this re-opening strategy did not happen quick enough, despite the Council being on record urging the CE to do so
