Or what about @GovLarryHogan repeat violent offender act? Passed the Senate last two years and was never even given the courtesy of a hearing in the House
Make stealing a gun a felony - rejected by Democrats, increased penalties for repeat violent offenders using guns- rejected by Democrats. How about asking Democrats and City leaders what they have done? There hasn’t been a Republican elected in the City for +75years. Own that https://twitter.com/museum_crime/status/1389671596051230725
Unfortunately, the Maryland General Assembly, instead of working together in a bipartisan fashion on policing as we started out to do, chose to pass far-left bills, which will making policing in our state worse — not better.
look to the city of Baltimore to see what happens when you wrongly criminalize police. In 2015, State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby erroneously prosecuted six police officers. Police have drastically backed off from proactive policing and are currently over 300 officers short
But now police officers will be disciplined by the appointees of politicians. Justice should not be the whim of politicians, it will lead to bad outcomes and not provide equal justice for all. Rather than a uniform system of police discipline, this legislation creates a patchwork
Once this bipartisan police reform package passed the Senate, it was met by protests at the State Capitol and at the homes of lawmakers by far-left activists. Unfortunately, after these protests, lawmakers in the Maryland House of Delegates jettisoned much of our bipartisan work

For the sake of our children, I hope this gets sorted out. The science says we can have children back in school and safely operate with 3 feet of social distancing. Our kids our suffering being out of school this long

Gerrymandering for partisan gain is wrong, no matter who does it.
That's why I've unilaterally ceded my power as governor to draw redistricting maps to a non-partisan citizen commission.
It's time for the voters to pick the politicians in Maryland, not the other way around. https://twitter.com/Redistrict/status/1380602434762969096
MARYLAND: there are creative maps, and then there's this work of art, which Dems passed in 2011 to seize a 7D-1R majority. But this time, they're poised go even further, by taking a sledgehammer to Rep. Andy Harris (R)'s #MD01 for an 8D-0R shutout.
Marylanders have been blessed to have this exceptional man serving as their Lt. Governor. https://twitter.com/BoydKRutherford/status/1382296667299397636
