Rev. Al and I are so pleased to welcome Van Brooks, founder of the Safe Alternative Foundation for Education. Van is a survivor and inspiration to everyone he meets, he tells his story of perserverance in the face of the prospect that he night never walk again. As a decorated high school athlete at Loyola Blakfield in a moment his world changed as a result of a broken neck during a routine tackle playing football. An inspired Van Brooks tells his story of triumph, the low points and the high points, of a journey that will lift up anyones spirits and give you a glimpse of a man who won’t give up until he walks freely again.
