BWI security wait times among shortest for big airports, but delays are frequent

Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport has shorter security wait times than the rest of the nation’s busiest airports, according to a recent study by travel company PlanetWare, but the flight hub ranks lower in delays and cancelations. With an average wait time of 5.1 minutes, BWI Airport claimed the No. 1 spot for shortest average wait time among 31 airports with the highest average passenger volumes.
