Southwest pilots to picket at BWI, across the country as contract talks continue

Over 1,200 Southwest Airlines Co. pilots will picket in Baltimore and at airports across the country on Thursday to show their frustration with negotiations for a new union contract that have dragged on for more than three years. Southwest Airlines Pilots Association, also known as SWAPA, is organizing the pickets for Aug. 31, the three-year anniversary of its members not having a contract.
