Frederick County encourages less water usage amid regional drought watch

A coalition of governments in the Washington, D.C., metro area declared a regional drought watch on Monday. Frederick County — one of the 24 members of the Washington Metropolitan Council of Governments — encourages residents to limit their daily water usage to help conserve water and make sure the area has a sufficient supply, a press release on Monday said.
