Maryland poised to proceed with rebuilding Key Bridge despite lack of federal action

Maryland plans to move forward to rebuild the collapsed Francis Scott Key Bridge no matter what. Gov. Wes Moore returned Tuesday to the White House to provide an update and discuss the $1.9 billion in federal funding needed for the rebuild. “We are very encouraged, and we are going to get this bridge rebuilt,” Moore said late Tuesday afternoon outside the White House.
