Poll: Alsobrooks keeps ahead of Hogan in costly Maryland Senate race

As millions of dollars go toward campaign ads in Maryland’s costly U.S. Senate race, Democrat Angela D. Alsobrooks is holding a lead of nine percentage points over Republican Larry Hogan in a poll released Wednesday — the day before the contest’s lone debate. Alsobrooks is ahead of Hogan 48 percent to 39 percent among likely voters in a poll from the University of Maryland at Baltimore County’s Institute of Politics, with just 1 in 5 voters saying they would be willing to change their minds before Election Day.
