South Mountain Creamery receives more than $1M in animal waste technology grants

South Mountain Creamery in Middletown has been awarded more than $1 million in grants related to enhancing animal waste technology at the creamery’s farm by the state of Maryland and other organizations. On July 22, the Maryland Department of Agriculture announced South Mountain Creamery as the winner of an animal waste technology grant of more than $505,000.
