Noted D.C.-area chef will open his first solo restaurant in Patterson Park
A chef who has already won over Washington, D.C.-area dining critics will open his first solo restaurant in Patterson Park. Chef Randall Matthews drew praise from the Washington Post for his “polished cooking” at Ada’s On the River, a waterfront Alexandria restaurant. He’s also worked at St. Anselm, a popular Union Market grill, Sam Fox’s True Food Kitchen and as a corporate chef for Michael Mina, who owned the now-closed restaurants Wit & Wisdom and Pabu in Baltimore’s Four Seasons hotel.
