World Market, a retail chain specializing in a variety of products from all over the world, Wednesday announced the grand opening of a new location at The Avenue at White Marsh in Baltimore County. The retailer secured a lease for a 15,000-square-foot space at 8125 Honeygo Blvd., its second in Maryland, joining its store in Rockville.

At a groundbreaking for The Shops at Fairway Village held Thursday morning, MCB officials said the project, with its 186 apartment units, will help add more housing to the area.
