Congratulations to Sarah Wolek on her appointment tonight by @mcdcc for the District 16 vacancy. As both a constituent & the District 1 Councilmember that overlaps much of the area, I very much look forward to a great partnership alongside @mkorman, @SaraLove4MD & @SenArianaKelly
Great to be at @metrobardc to hear from @JeffSpeckFAICP, author of Walkable City. A thought-provoking and insightful conversation from an internationally recognized advocate for livable, walkable communities.
Thanks, @csgstewart & @betterDCregion for hosting!
And the Terps take it!

WE LOVE THE TERPS!!!!!!!!!
Today @wamu885 featured a story on our battle to get White's Ferry reopened. Our work as the FAC will continue until this is resolved, and we will keep working to get the services we deserve.

Our Governor has a sweeter jumper than your Governor. 🏀
Looking good, @iamwesmoore!
My colleague. My friend. About to be my Senator, @DelArianaKelly!
(Will need to change that handle, @SenArianaKelly)
Sending my deepest condolences to the Lerner Family and @Nationals organization on the passing of Ted Lerner. He leaves an unparalleled legacy and a huge void for the company he led and our community he played such an integral role in shaping.
May his memory be for a blessing.
Breaking news: Ted Lerner dies at 97. The real estate magnate became the owner of the Washington Nationals and oversaw their rise to prominence. https://wapo.st/3xjQgqw
@EstherLWells A spectacular day to walk to and from public transit to get to a meeting downtown, indeed! Little to no wait for the @wmata Red Line on both legs. Just arrived back in #MoCo for afternoon meetings.
Great to spend the morning downtown for the Council of Government’s FARM Policy Committee discussing how we strengthen food resiliency, support local farmers, and expand healthy food and farmland access to historically underrepresented communities.
