Thank you @SenatorMcCray for listening to our urban farmers and leading on this issue.

Baltimore City is the only main-local jurisdiction in the state without a soil conservation district. SB 616 will take direct action to curb the looming impacts of climate change and empower our constituents to be the change makers in establishing a greener future.
When one of my constituents ran into multiple problems navigating the technical assistance piece of starting an urban farm, I started looking for solutions.
Today I testified in support of SB 616 sponsored by @SenatorMcCray to establish a soil conservation dist. within our City.
