It was a historic night in the House Judiciary Committee. With our vote to pass HB 670, we took significant and substantial steps to reform the police misconduct process in Maryland. I’d like to thank @VAtterbeary for her hard work and dedication to this legislation. #MDGA21
I want to thank the House Judiciary Committee for passing substantive police reform legislation this evening, especially @VAtterbeary and @LukeClippinger for putting in tireless hours. (1/3)

Very proud of the House of Delegates for passing (almost unanimously) a bill to provide a way to compensate wrongfully convicted individuals in Maryland. I was honored to represent such a man & tho $$ can’t make up for time lost, it helps to create a more secure future. #MDGA21
Important day in the House: We passed HB3, a historic parole reform bill, which will remove the Governor from the parole process.
Passing HB3 wouldn't have been possible without years of relentless work from @DelPamQueen.
Today, the House voted to take politics out of parole.
The Maryland House just voted 93-41 to get the Governor out of parole decisions. On to the Senate! #MDpolitics #MDGA21
This session is a particularly special one for me, as the body is finally passing bills that I worked on years ago while at the @ACLU_MD. Bills like HB 3, taking the Gov out of parole. #working4md
My colleague @DelPamQueen speaking about taking the Governor out of parole decisions for those sentenced to life. She had been working on this issue for years. /1
My District 14 colleague and friend @DelPamQueen speaking out powerfully for parole reform. A long overdue change to our criminal justice system.
