Honored to be here to memorialize the lynching of 15 yr old Howard Cooper today outside the Old Towson Jail. In order to repair and heal it is necessary to look history in the face.

Every conversation I have with CE @JohnnyOJr I bring up the need for fields in 42B. Today, he announced $6.4M in funding for field projects on Belfast Rd. I'd like to thank him for listening to me and to my constituents in 42B and funding these fields in this year's budget.
On the final day of session I am happy to announce HB 714 has passed!
When this pandemic started it took months before some schools could communicate their plans for special education. This bill will ensure emergency preparedness in case of any future prolonged school closure.

We finally passed the sports wagering bill! After 3 years on Ways and Means, two years on the gambling sub-committee and three bills to benefit the Maryland State Fair we finally have secured sustainable funding for this gem in 42B!
