As Covid-19 Cases Continue To Increase Daily, Marylanders Begin To Wonder If Mask Mandates Will Be Reinstated
As the Delta variant continues to spread across the U.S., some are wondering if an increase in cases will force states to impose mask mandates once again. For 10 straight days, Maryland has had more than 100 new COVID-19 cases every 24 hours. It’s a disturbing trend that makes some people wonder if things will take a turn for the worse. This week, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced that the more contagious Delta variant makes up about 83 percent of new COVID-19 cases in the U.S. Some areas in California have already made the decision to bring back the mask mandate.
