Maryland casinos report fourth-best month ever in March
Maryland’s casinos reported a combined $170.6 million in gaming revenue during March 2022 — a haul state gaming officials say is the fourth-best single-month figure in the history of the state’s casino program. Revenue rose a total of $966,000 from March 2021, a time when a 50% Covid capacity restriction was still in place at the state’s six casinos. The restriction was lifted for four casinos on March 12, 2021. Capacity limits for MGM National Harbor and Horseshoe Casino were raised from 25% to 50% during March 2021 under local jurisdiction orders.
